READY Local Governments Applications Closing Soon

Has your community applied for READY Local Governments yet? There’s still time! Applications are due July 31.

Through this virtual training program, local government officials can learn to better identify, secure, manage and implement federally funded economic development projects. 💪

Upon successful completion of the training program, participants can apply for up to $50K in funding to implement projects that help them address their communities’ economic needs.

Apply by July 31!


COMMUNITY

In Buckhannon, West Virginia, ARC Federal Co-Chair Gayle Manchin visited the SpaceTrek summer program, where 9th-12th graders learn new STEM skills, explore related career paths and conduct lunar science research. 🚀

The last remaining section of the Professional Boulevard Extension in Hagerstown, Maryland, opened for public use earlier this week. 🛣️The extension improves traffic flow, enhances access to businesses and neighborhoods, strengthens emergency response routes, and supports continued growth.

The University of Kentucky Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment will use $1.7M in ARC POWER funds to strengthen local food systems and expand seed-based entrepreneurship across Eastern Kentucky. 🌱
