Regional Workshops Share Keys to Project Success 🗝️
This week, ARC partners and prospective grantees joined us at our 2026 Regional Workshops in Cartersville, Georgia, and Ithaca, New York. Attendees learned how to take their projects to the next level with best practices in project design, compliance and more.

Registration for our 2026 Annual Conference, Appalachia Builds: Breaking New Ground for Economic Growth, will open on April 9, 2026!
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from successful economic development efforts across the Appalachian Region. 💡

In Hudson, North Carolina, $300K in ARC funds will go to infrastructure improvements inside the McCreary Family Business Center, also known as The HUB Station. 👩💻 There, local entrepreneurs can access resources, support and office space.
In the Southern Tier of New York, $205K in ARC funds will help modernize manufacturing in the area. Through training, workshops and pilot projects, 10 to 20 small and mid-sized manufacturers will gain support in adopting advanced technologies like robotics and AI. 🦾
Global biopharmaceutical company UCB will invest $2B to establish its first U.S.-based manufacturing facility in Gwinnett County, Georgia. 🔬 The investment will create 330 new jobs and could generate over $5B in economic impact.
