The Franklin County Commission will hold a public hearingon Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Elizabeth Lucas CourthouseAnnex Building, 405 N. Jackson Avenue, Russellville, AL 35653 to discussthe submission of an application for FY2020 Community Development Block Grant-CV(CDBG-CV) program funds. The County Commission wishes to obtain citizens' inputon community needs within the County, particularly related to the COVID-19pandemic. As part of the hearing process, citizens will be asked to verballyassist in the completion of a Needs Assessment document. Information to be presentedincludes the amount of grant funds available, the range of eligible activities whichmay be undertaken and a discussion of the proposed project the Franklin CountyCommission intends to submit to the Alabama Department of Economic andCommunity Affairs (ADECA).
