TOWN OF BRILLIANT
CDBG PROJECT NUMBER: SM-CM-PF-17-029
Separate sealed bids for 2017 CDBG SEWER REHAB PROJECT will be received by the Town of Brilliant, at the Town Hall, 1275 Main Street, Brilliant, Alabama 35548, until 3:30 p.m. CST, on Thursday, March 7, 2019.
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Payment Bond and other contract documents may be examined at the following: Town of Brilliant, Town Hall, Brilliant, AL and at the office of Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood, Inc., in Vernon, AL.
All bids must be submitted on bid forms provided by the Engineer. Bids must be submitted to the Town of Brilliant in a sealed envelope marked “2017 CDBG Sewer Rehab Project – CDBG Project No. SM-CM-PF-17-029”. The Bidder’s name and address shall appear on the outside of the sealed bid and; the Bidder’s General Contractor’s License shall be listed on the outside of the sealed bid. The Owner reserves the right to wave any informalities or reject any or all bids.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the information for bidders. Bidders are encouraged to attend a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on Thursday,
February 28, 2018, at 3:30 p.m. at the Brilliant Town Hall, Brilliant, Alabama 35548. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the overall project including applicability of Section 3, minority/women-owned and small business employment opportunities. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment to be observed, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
